About Cedar Valley Crafts
Lee Kurimoto-Renaud is a third generation artist who grew up in Alaska and Oklahoma. Her early life emphasized the simplicity of everyday life and her first experience sewing came from watching her father rug bears in his taxidermist shop. Lee loves color, texture, and the beautiful elements of nature. She recalls a beautiful farm on a hill near her grandparents home in Oklahoma called Cedar Hill and she grew up dreaming of one day owning such a farm, but instead became an educator for 22 years. She has recently retired, currently living in California, and has decided to pursue her creative side full time, which is how Cedar Valley Crafts was founded.
Why Cedar Valley Crafts?
"As a child, there was a farm near my grandparent's. It was named Cedar Ridge Farms. I dreamed of one day owning it with all of its trees and land. Ever since, I have loved the name and the dream. I want to keep the handmade traditions alive and the care to attention and detail that I give each piece."
-Lee Kurimoto-Renaud, Founder
Every piece ordered is personally made by Lee. She takes pride in every project and never cuts corners when it comes to craftsmanship and quality. Choosing to work with Cedar Valley Crafts is choosing to work with a reliable, passionate, and dedicated artist.
